I've spent my entire life doing what I thought I was supposed to do. Finally, at the ages of thirty-six and thrity-seven years old I was able to live my dream. I have always wanted to move to a foreign country, where I didn't know the language and survive. Done and done. I moved to Guatemala in January 2010, and just returned to the States a month ago.
I didn't know any spanish when I moved to Guatemala. I spent my first month there in language school in Antigua. Learning was difficult, but rewarding. I made some amazing friends in Guatemala... and I can now say that I have fulfilled the one dream that I had in my entire life.
Now what??
I have been back from Guate for a month... and I have no idea of what to do with myself.
